I remember seeing these guys at Spanky's Bar in Brampton back in 1986, great band, Frankie Venom was a great front man for the group.
Ответитьsuper..
ОтветитьRIP Frankie.
ОтветитьSaw hammers best in Kingston many times Hughie Dillon fake punk FRANKIE VENOM RIP.
ОтветитьAlways pissed me off that they never played Houston, where I grew up. Seems like whenever they came down to the states, they’d only play in the midwest or the northeast. There were more than a few of us in Houston who had their records and would have loved to have seen them. Frankie was a true original, and Gord is one of the greatest and most overlooked punk rock guitarists of all time.
ОтветитьGordie's punk idol was Johnny Thunders. He managed to do more than Thunders while keeping that purely simple punk sound.
Ответитьthanks for upload,I love this band.
ОтветитьMan Frankie was the BEST!! Miss him dearly!!
ОтветитьNo 'Exorcist' lines live??? Boooo...

ОтветитьRIP Gord Lewis!
ОтветитьRIP Gordie
Ответитьi used to live in hamilton and knew him and have 3 cds never heard by anyone
ОтветитьFrankie was an innate trendsetter, forging his unique style. Every subtle move he made and every word he sang were distinctly his own. He exuded captivating charm, keeping spectators guessing with each unpredictable action. Those fortunate enough to know him carry an indelible mark left by his presence.
Gord, a gentle spirit, never encroached upon others. Steve, a silent force, awaits his moment to convey his essence. Dave, a compassionate and amiable individual, graces us with his presence.
It was an absolute joy to have crossed paths with each and every one of them.
Rock-a-billy on uppers!
ОтветитьGod I miss those days..Heads the best F the rest
ОтветитьMy first show ever... Teenage Head in a field beside Zounds Records in Scarborough (I believe in 1982). Decided right there that I wanted to play music... total life changing event. These guys deserved far more recognition than they ever got.
ОтветитьUnderstood nothing, he said.
