Use different varieties of manuka to extend the blooming season. This is very important. If all the plants are from the same mother plant they will tend to bloom at the same time, while the variation in blooming time and length of blooming should be considered by the seedling producers. The amount of nectar produced is also important. Plants might produce high active compound but not enough amount of nectar (maybe).
