Does it even matter who the next coach is?

Don Sweeney has proven in spades that if anything goes wrong that he's directly responsible for...

So for example, signing a bunch of UFA turds while spending to the Cap to do so only to see the team fail due to lack of talent

OR

Constantly failing in the playoffs because the teams Sweeney keeps building are slow, big, goalie oriented, low forward talent teams that keep getting hammered in the post season

When those things happen... Sweeney just fires the coach, has a pissy press conference where if anyone questions his crap results these past few years, he gets even more pissy

Cassidy was "the problem" three years ago. So much so after being fired he won the Cup the very next year with a glorified expansion team

Montgomery was so crappy of a coach he led the team to the NHL's regular season wins and points records and now has St. Louis firing on all cylinders in the post season and what did the Bruins do once Monty was scapegoated by Sweeney earlier this year?

That's right, they still sucked because they have a TALENT problem Don Sweeney is responsible for and St. Louis has been excellent since the minute Montgomery showed up

So when Joe Sacco gets fired soon and Don Sweeney fires his third coach in 4 years and then hires his fourth coach in 5 years....

Again will it even matter who Don Sweeney hires because he's incapable of building a playoff winning roster and when the team fails because of his mistakes...

Not only will he fire and scapegoat the next guy, the Jacobs will hold a press conference defending Sweeney and throwing the former coaches under the bus even further for his hero, Don Sweeney.

Proof? 9 of the last 10 years with Don Sweeney as GM they have failed to win more than one playoff round

In a decade of being GM Don Sweeney's Bruins have won one lousy 2nd round series, ONE!!!.

They have DNQd more times the past 10 years (twice) than they have won 2nd round series

The farm system is hot garbage and the big club roster has less talent on it today than it has had on it in probably over 20 years

Yet despite those facts Charlie Jacobs is still holding defiant press conferences telling everyone Montgomery screwed them over and Don Sweeney and Cam Neely are just the bees knees

So again, it doesn't matter who the Bruins hire as the next coach because

ONE, Sweeney doesn't know how to build playoff winning NHL rosters, just big, slow, low talent teams that can rack up a ton of meaningless regular season points against the league's dredges but get run over in the post season time and time again

TWO, no matter how many more Don Sweeney built teams fail, ownership will just keep blaming the coaches while praising Sweeney some more in the same breathe
