Poor Topsy. Her story and the Black Prince’s story. All those poor animals. My heart absolutely breaks for the lives of these animals that faced such cruelty. Why not just cage them and let them go back to their homeland? To kill the animals is such a horrible a senseless thing to do.

He leaves out the sinister part about this "Landscape Artist" which was, he buried or flooded with artificial lakes, many old world neighborhoods that would've debunked the history we are told about what the region looked like when Colonialists arrived. (Hint: it was built out from Atlantic to Pacific with partially buried ruins)

anyways let's see what else... it was... they called coney island the playground of the world. there was no place like it in the whole world like coney island when I was a youngster. no place in the world like it. it was so fabulous, now it shrunk down to almost nothing, you see. and I still remember in my mind how things used to be, you know... and I feel very bad. I even got lost in coney island when I was very small but they found me on the beach. we used to sleep out here, sleep overnight... now they don't do it anymore... things change... they don't sleep anymore on the beach
