Why on earth did you choose to stay at that hotel which is like on the other side of the river and is pretty much a suburban dump??!!? Cheaping out again?? :D Actually for the same money, you could've stayed on Sukhumvit or Ratchadaphisek or some other areas that are more centrally located.

Bangkok is amazing to travel, the worst to live though.

Great vlog, Phnom Penh airport is so different to Siem Reap. We recently flew Siem Reap to Bangkok and the airport was literally one room and two doors that left to different planes that you walked to.

If you are from America and have T-Mobile, you won't need a sim card. You can use your phone like regular and NO extra charges whatsoever. I have an unlimited plan. I pay $110.00 a month and used my phone in Thailand just like i was back home. Success !

Good news, now there is also a newly open skytrain from this Donmueng airport into the city. It will take you to Bangsue Grand station where you can hop on subways into the city. It's called red line from bangsue grand station.

FYI at ankor wat you visited on the Cambodian side. If you keep walking thru the back yard is Thailand side. How crazy is that! You can ritually keep on walking on the back courtyard and meet Thai check point without having to catch a plane to be in Thailand.
