The fact that Battle Network and Digimon have never had an official crossover (To my knowledge at least) is absolutely CRIMINAL.

I know this comment would have made more sense on the Medabots vid, but I think you should give Danball Senki/LBX. It's like the spiritual successor in a way. It's definitely would the look.

Mega Man Battle Network was a great twist on the IP. I remember having link cable battles on the school bus or recess. Looking back, the PVP was deep unique to this day.

This and StarForce (esp the latter) were my CHILDHOOD

In the sequel season they're given Advanced PET II's that allows them to activate a Net Zone of sorts IRL where Lan and Chad basically biomerge with Megaman and Protomon to dawn their armor and fight as their Net Navi's themselves basically off the Net in the Real World

Megaman NT was the best Megaman iteration and was legendary game and anime

in later parts of the shows, they stop using wires to jack in and start using wireless.

I remember point in the series where they figured out a way the human characters to fuse with their partners. But that was different from Star Force. In that show, the main character fused with an alien to become megaman

I'm so glad you discovered this anime because it really does feel like a companion to Digimon 😀

What I would have done for a Mega Man X anime instead. I know he appears in the old cartoon for one episode but I mean a whole series.

This was my childhood. I was a teenager when i watch this.

As the series goes on, Lan switches PET models, the next model will be wireless. Data transfer with lazers, baby!

Me discovering this show had more seasons in Japan is what got me into anime in general. I'd watched anime before, but just because they were dubbed and on TV(Fox Kids, KidsWB, Toonami, etc). Hunting down the fansubs for this show got me hooked on watching Bleach fansubs as it aired in Japan, and then on and on the dominos fell.
