Great video. This is definitely some scary tastiness.

So right off the bat, you are admitting you aren't making proper garum, and you still made this whole vlog-style video about garum, then made an inferior version. Garum is fermented fish guts, if you don't ferment fish guts then why bother making it? Just call it an instructional video. This was a frustrating watch and slightly disingenuous to your viewers.

Max looks so much younger, but also like a spoiled brat from a fancy bording school, so much better now, though his awesome energy hasn't changed a bit

PS: you still look like you are in your 30s(just not like still in your 20s) and much more like the nice, wholesome guy you clearly are

tunny probably refers to "little thunny"(false albacore) which are closer to mackerel size than the big tuna species, they max out at 30lb or so, usually 5-15lb

What a commercial from Ancient Rome. "Buy Antonio's Garum for the best health benefits. Everyone else's Garum will burn your insides out and give you boils!!!" Or, "The Empror's kitchens use ONLY Antonio's Garum. All other Garum is KAK!!! KAK, I tell you!!! KAK!!! Antonio's Garum goes good with honey dates. I eat it all the time." Or, "Antonio's Garum will bring instant youth to the old." Have a before and after picture.

We Khmers still make our fermentated fish products the ancient way. The salted fermented fish call "Braw-hok ."
Once the Braw-hok I'd at its maximum ripens stage it can be processed and refined into fish sauce.
Braw-hok is either processes into past or leave whole, or we can process it into fish sauce. Khmers households are still carrying on the traditional method of ancient times. Our Khmers version only used two ingredients, fish and salt.
We Khmers called it Braw-Hok ( for fish paste)
Tuk-Drai (for the refined/fish sauce).
With the right ratio of fish to salt will give you a desirable Umami for your taste receptors.

The earliest forms of garum like sauces were likely developed by the Phoenicians, who were skilled traders and settlers in the Mediterranean, including in Carthage (modern Tunisia). The Carthaginians are thought to have refined and spread the practice, as they were closely tied to Mediterranean maritime trade. The Romans inherited garum from these earlier cultures and industrialized its production, turning it into a lucrative trade🤞🏼

Mesopotamia, Egyptian, Roman, Spartan, Medieval, Renaissance, Greek, English, etc. No African? We do have a rich history you know? We did eat food too. This isn't no FOMO nor PICK ME moment. A lot of the foods you eat today here in America are due to the Indian and African slave. Who do you think cooked for Massa? You're welcome!
