I just wish Impetus...well, MEANT something for Koumei. the efficiency is nice, but it really highlights one of Koumei's biggest issues: she doesnt scale with anything really. Thats not to say she is bad in endgame or anything, its just that none of her abilities super benefit from strength or duration all that much. Range is a BIT more useful, allowing you to suspend more enemies with her 4, but thats the ONLY ability of hers range is needed for. Her first ability doesnt even scale range well, since if you spawn too many threads they start despawning.

Impetus would be PERFECT on koumei, and it DOES help her in efficiency...but why do you need efficiency on her? She isnt a caster, she is a primer/gun-runner. Strength barely affects her because her abilites already do so little actual damage. Lastly, her dice mechanic. While it makes her a "gambling" frame, they really dont mean much when it doesnt come to triples. And, even then, you barely notice it unless its on your 2.

I get the reason is because she is supposed to be beginner friendly. Afterall, with her not scaling super well with mods, she ALSO doesnt really NEED mods to be good. But it makes for a frame that you essentially just slap a ton of survival mods onto with maybe some range or energy max. If strength meant more on her, impetus would be GREAT, since im pretty sure she can proc it the most of any frame. But, sadly, strength is mid on her.

Would it work with limbo w/ rift torrent?

You would think that it’s worthwhile on citrine, but it isn’t. You dont need the efficiency er 1 acts as an energy regenerator, and you cant get a lot of strength because she can only apply 6 elements, 7 with archon continuity. It’s better to simply go for something else instead.

Goes stupid hard on Voruna and incredibly easy to maintain max stats.

Impetus is also perfect for Voruna. And oddly satisfying going a build using her 4

impetus is good on a bunch of people, but voruna easily gets the most use out of it, after only a few casts ur alr at at least 10-11 stacks with it, and u will accidentally keep it going just from enemies dying and spreading the effects

How well does this work on Koumei?

Voruna is also a good option for the 4th build, the efficiency helps a lot and that extra strength is good for high level sp (the damage of the 4th is multiplicative so yeah)

I kinda wish I could put multiple Helminth abilities on a single frame.

Koumei with Decoy and Expedite Suffering would be a nightmare.

Decoy + MFD is a surprisingly good nuke setup so loki really likes the 1999 arcanes

Gauss can also get 6 stacks on his own and a 7th from companion which is 42% strength and 21% efficiency

Considering nuke builds with Gauss don't want over 100% strength but do want overextended, this can help your energy economy and make it so any strength mod will break the 100% threshold that you need while being easier to maintain than icestrom, but still faster to stack than molt augmented. Been using it a while now and its just awesome on him.

It's good on dante if you slap different status mods on his book

I'd say impetus is still fairly worth it on any frame who can apply at least 5 damage types with their ability for that sweet 30% strength and 15% efficiency.

I have Impetus and Augmented on Dante because I can apply 6 statuses with his tome. Impetus helps with spam casting with the extra efficiency while augmented boosts my strength to stupid numbers.

What is that koumei build I must know

First frame that crosses my mind about this Arcane is Mirage "2" since it popped with all basic elements. Not sure it would work with Archon Continuity since it gave corrosive damage for toxin damage.

Also shout out for Citrine "3"

Arcane Augmented is still better. Efficiency really doesn't do much for Lavos. And Lavos' purpose for status application is to convert it into direct DMG nuking. Which actually makes this arcane terrible for him as the upkeep on the buff is racing against itself.
Arcane Grace and Augmented / Eruption is the best option.

Oddly enough, it also works well on Titania, since your Razorwing weapons trigger it. Run pure Toxin on guns, plus Archon Continuity and Nourish for Corrosive and Viral. The new(ish) melee mods make slotting Radiation and Magnetic simple, plus another 1 or 2 elements of choice. Both have PBS, so you can easily hit 10 statuses that get refreshed by just holding down the fire button.

impetus and crepuscular is an INSANE combo on Voruna. also give me voruna on all fours running animation when her 4 is active DE you COWARDS

Ngl they played it too safe with a few of these arcanes. This one is too hard to proc and the lil extra oomph isn't enough to justify the inconsistency

I use it on Koumei
A single triple 6 on her 1 and it’s maxed out instantly and it’s easy to refresh too

Fun fact: you can now put Secondary Encumber on Hildryn's Balefire Chargers or Jade's Glory on High, and use Arcane Impetus to reach full 13 stacks. I will say, it's a lot easier with Jade because the rate of fire on her secondary can get pretty bonkers; but yeah I'm rocking max rank Arcane Impetus and max rank Arcane Encumber on my Jade and the ability efficiency and ability strength gain from it is so good. Impetus+Channeled ability bond mod makes it so I can be an AC-130 gunship permanently.

This arcane also works on any frame with secondary exalted weapons with Secondary Encumber and any frame with melee exalted weapons with Melee Influence
