Is this the same Key Video that was a budet label owned by CBS/Fox? I didn't know that any LaserDiscs were released with this imprint. Most of my Fox LDs are on the CBS/Fox label, although a few Magnetic Video titles as well. STAY AWESOME! :)
Ответить@Watcher3223 Oh. I still have some Key Video VHS tapes that play, but sadly Flight of the Phoenix died on me. Probably due to being played so much. Thankfully I have it on DVD. The remake too, which isn't as good a film in my opinion. STAY AWESOME! :)
Ответить@Watcher3223 It looks interesting for a 'budget label' logo in my opinion.
ОтветитьLooks like Scanimate...which was pretty advanced in the early-80s.
ОтветитьI just found this rare Key Video logo at the start the 1984 VHS of Where's Poppa? which I got at Savers today.

ОтветитьFalse Advertising: It's called "Key" Video, But No Key Is Actually Shown On Screen
ОтветитьKey Video uses a library music composition.
It is called "Upsweep" by Geoff Levin and Dwight Mikkelsen from the Emil Ascher, Inc. album, "Olympic Odyssey "(1983). Later reissued on the Parry Music album, "Olympia" in 1989.
Also, the animation of this logo was entirely done on a Quantel Mirage digital effects machine.
The logo ever.
