Wonderful video!
ОтветитьThat is so beautiful watching "THE BOYS" running thru the pasture and the mountains in the back. You're doing a great job with them!
ОтветитьLove these guys. They lower my blood pressure instantly. When I still had my boys I loved spending time with them the most. They were the highlight of my day. I am glad I get to follow yours.
Ответитьwhile i wish you could do more riding for your own sake, i personally really appreciate watching your channel for the daily minutiae of horse ownership. the chores, the little bits of training, the two steps forward and one step back. and of course, your wonderful choices in music.
ОтветитьHey lady, Can’t wait for you to get your dream place. Rooting for you! I’m learning so much about horse care from you, just the basic everyday stuff. It’s priceless and seeing all the animals makes my day every time I watch. Looking forward to seeing your liberty training journey too :)
ОтветитьI love your videos. It doesn’t matter if you’re riding or dumping manure, as long as I get to see how the horses are doing, I’m happy. 💜
ОтветитьOkay what was the small animal running across the bottom left side of the screen at 6.20 seconds ?
ОтветитьLiberty sounds like a good option, as well as you read and connect with your horses it seems a natural progression tbh
ОтветитьI truly love all your horses but Ziggy... he's just the sweetest boy ever. He's just got my heart 💗💗💗
ОтветитьAs always ❤️❤️❤️❤️
ОтветитьWe’re not here for the riding. We’re here for your horse wisdom, for all the personalities, for the landscape, the journey, and the kindness
ОтветитьI’m not really about the riding either. But if you did start riding, wouldn’t English style be better? Much less bouncing. Posting to the trot. The body moves a lot more with the horse.
ОтветитьSo lovely to see Prince Ziggy running with his tail streaming!
TY
Ziggy seems so happy with Scarlet. I love to watch them.
ОтветитьSo beautiful. I get fully that you have to go through 10 months of toughness to get to 2 months of best weather ☀️🍀🌺☘️🌿🌻
Enjoy the ‘special’ time of year CC
Thank you so much for posting. Please take the time for you neck to heal. I will stop pestering you about riding I swear. I love all your videos. They are very relaxing and beautiful. I love the chores and learning about horses and horse care. Auction visits are awesome too. I have learned so much. I hope you find the perfect property soon and we can learn all about that. HUGS
ОтветитьI enjoy whatever you post. Thanks for sharing. ❤❤❤
ОтветитьYour life is amazing. Your horses are so beautiful. I love to watch them playing and running in the pasture.
ОтветитьC C. We love how you run your channel that's why we subscribe, like, enjoy and keep coming back❤
ОтветитьLove love love the little Tiny cuddle moments in the stories of the day ❤❤❤
ОтветитьThe fat pads over Studmans eyes have almost disappeared. Hes looking so much slimmer, and hes def at his fighting weight! Well sone CC ❤❤❤
ОтветитьI subscribe to your channel because I am so impressed with amount of work you put in taking care of your horses. Obviously, a labor of love. I get annoyed just having to get up and feed my one very vocal and demanding cat. Not being a horse person, really confused as to the prices that are paid for horses. Watched an Amish (I think) auction (or some other religious order). They were "riding" - not work horses - with a "Draft" strain - big solid horses. Prices in the thousands. Compared to the hundreds paid for the BLM horses and the $25 horse you purchased. Do not get it.
ОтветитьPerfect end to another great vidio.
ОтветитьThank You CC, for all that you share and talk about..I love listening to the horses..Ziggy horse talked that was beautiful. Their running made me smile. Tiny was a surprise hiding in the grass. Glad you saw her. Great share.
ОтветитьCome live in Canada - we have great pastures 🙂
ОтветитьI have learned so much from your channel. I am injured and can't ride, either. I don't care at all if you do riding or not, either way, I'm loving the videos.
ОтветитьHeal completely first before doing a lot of riding. I still enjoy seing the horses, Tiny, and Huckleberry.
ОтветитьI don't need you to ride, however, the day your rode your chair in Nigel's paddock was one of the best videos I've ever watched. His consternation and confusion was hilarious. I hope you will show more videos of trying to make friends with Nigel. I could never get enough. A series would be lovely!!!
ОтветитьI had to chuckle at your comment about the Montana weather. My family has always said that Montana weather is 9 months of winter and 3 months of poor sledding. :-) People show up during the beautiful short summer and decide to move there. But then the long winter hits and it's not too long before they move out again. The actual peak season to visit is around July 4th. That is when the wildflowers in the mountains are at their height. So that's when I come back to visit.
The weather is actually much milder than it used to be, thanks to climate change. When I was a kid on our ranch by Three Forks we would get snow drifts that would cover our fences and keep us from getting to town. But that hasn't happened for 20 years. And you have more of a spring and fall now, where we really didn't back then. There are recordings of Bozeman getting snow every month of the year. One year I remember it snowed on July 4th. But other than the occasional freak spring snow I don't think that happens anymore either. The long winters and short summers are something I definitely do not miss!
What is ps?
ОтветитьI’m so glad your working consistently with beautiful Goose. He deserves that attention to build his trust. He is a stunning horse. I’m so glad you have the patience that he deserves, CC. Thank you for giving him that chance. ❤
ОтветитьWhat a character Ziggy is !
ОтветитьI’ve never seen you actually work a horse but I love watching your barn management, and the way you relate to all the critters.
ОтветитьSeeing what a beautiful mare Scarlet has become, just wow.
ОтветитьColorado is a lovely state. However, bear in mind there is a severe water shortage there, water fights over the Colorado River and pumped ground water. Your realtor should be open about this with you. Always nice to see Miss Tiny. She looks so happy hunting and frisking about, occasionally checking in with you. What happened to the shaky plate? Haven't seen it lately.
ОтветитьI really appreciate the breadth of your musical choices, as much as I love how well you care for all your horses.
ОтветитьI've been lurking, wishing I was back in Montana. I miss it. I was in Livingston, not Belgrade. I'm sad that you're looking at leaving, but I don't blame you. The Texans and Californians are pricing us little guys out.
ОтветитьReally, don’t worry about not riding often enough. I personally enjoy all aspects of your adventure. And I enjoy you and your knowledge and narrative style. So rest that neck for as long as you need to. 😊
ОтветитьWatch your channel to see the horses and how you take care of them. I miss the time I spend watching all your animals when I don't have time to visit your channel, feels like being cut off from family. Take care of yourself and give Tiny a scratch from me! 😊😊😊
ОтветитьTY for a nice relaxing video☀️😎🌸
ОтветитьI'm here for the horses, the scenery and your very relaxing stories. I've never ridden a horse after age 10 and I don't need to watch someone else do it! 😊 Also, it tickles me to shock my very horsey daughter-in-law with the occasional horse thing I learned here!😂
ОтветитьI enjoy the training and care parts the most and getting to know each horse, certainly the riding, if it is part of their growth and achievement, but there are so many ways to keep them growing and improving without hurting yourself. I did notice the time between posts and was starting to worry, heal yourself first as without you who is going to advocate for these guys. (Or keep us up to date). I love the horses and what I’m learning from you about them.

Sorry beautiful but I really don't think you've done much research on degenerative disc when you squish them.... unless you tear a "DISC" then there is NO healing from it....! There are just periods of hey it's better than it was the other day... and now I'm in agony again! More cortisone shots later! I'm not sure who keeps telling you you Can Heal from it? It's not a heal it's a manage only!!! & as a female you're in for a big shock when you get perimenopause 😬😳.... as I have just nose dived into the ground and now have more problems with my back that I've ever had. Along with every joint in your body aching. You're gonna have to look at more likely how long and what you can cope with... you may need to potentially rehome a couple and put a few others out in the past year when you get your new place, I'd rather be focusing on horses you can ride & yes sadly less damage to them 😢 .
I had to get rid of my dogs when my back deteriorated further & I was unable to walk them... now I'm a cat lady 🤷♀️.
I do have one last question that has been bugging me for ages and it's not so much a question as it's a statement! If we get rid of all horses Slaughterhouse houses not that I'm saying they don't need some better practises around putting them down and looking after and prior to that... but where do people think their dog & cat food comes from? People can't be that naive can they be?
Another great video. Stay healthy CC. I don't mind if you don't ride. I just love watching you doing your daily routine and letting us watch while you expline everything to us. It doesn't matter how small a subject is I always learn something from your videos. I will never get tired of watching them. You need to take care of yourself so you can take care of your horses. I'm a little bit selfish, but I wouldn't mind more video's. 😊
ОтветитьAlso not to pry... but if you're heading for 35 onwards, I'd be getting hormone checks as when you hit Perimenopause, your bones start to deteriorate faster than most average doctors no because there's been bugger all research for women's menopause! And due to my back problems I'm now having heater problems so I'll probably be in perimenopause for some years without knowing! 🙄... so if I could have a do-over..... I'd have pushed a lot earlier for hormone checks as mailed Dr's especially are more then happy to flap on about weight and other garbage causing back problems when they are just sticking Band-Aids over the symptoms & not addressing the root cause.
Also liberty, is a fantastic idea
I heard you say that you realize how blessed you are for the life you have. Ever since I was 5 years old and my father gave me my first riding lesson, I was hooked. Things did not work out for me though. My father abandoned his first family and I did not get to be around horses again until I became a working student at 17. Now at 62 I still love horses but can't ride, I'm on disability. I lost most of my eyesight 7 years ago. I hope you find your new place soon. I highly recommend Washington state. Beautiful horse country out here. Mild winters, rainy springs, Mild summers. Unless we talk eastern Washington. Whole other ball a wax. Lots of desert and sage brush. But inexpensive land. It's still very pretty though. They do have problems with wildfires every summer almost. 😊
ОтветитьI’m here for the joy of the horses and the love you have for them. Such a special channel CC. 🫶🏻
