Why would one not just use a wider plank and set it first, then butt the treads and risers to it?
Ответить❤❤❤❤
Ответить⭐️
ОтветитьNo actually the real skill is installing the side skirts first, like your suppose to. Then cut the risers and treads nice and clean
ОтветитьHow do you do it with carpeted stairs?
ОтветитьWOW
ОтветитьPerfect amd SIMPLE
ОтветитьSkirt first.
Ответитьnext time install skirt first
ОтветитьPut the skirt on first eliminates this detail time consuming mistake prone work.
ОтветитьWth, put the skirt board on first. I give the dude credit, tho. He made it work.. i hope that wasn't a paying job.
ОтветитьThe easy way is to put it on first before you trim out your stairs two cuts done
ОтветитьNice! I would definitely f@ck that up.
ОтветитьWow! Great job.
ОтветитьThat is amazing!!!
ОтветитьThat method works perfectly on a nice new staircase where all the risers are exactly the same and square at the riser tread junction , but alas as we all know in the real world where ur retro fitting a false string to an old existing staircase sometimes them treads can be different, ie falling back or rising up a bit , so scribing from the tread below might not work so accurately
ОтветитьSoooo Kompliziert
ОтветитьHow'd he know how to make the curves at the nose of the steps?
ОтветитьWow, very creative… i guess it comes with experience 👌🏾 or should I say being sharper lol
ОтветитьHope hes not on hourly rate..😅
ОтветитьCraftsman
ОтветитьNice
ОтветитьWhy wouldn't that string be housed out and fitted to the staircase in the first place?
Building a staircase usually requires both strings on either side to be housed out and then the treads and risers are glued, screwed, and wedged into the string's to hold it all together and make the whole thing one before it is fitted.
Omg .. that's a 2 days job lol
Ответить
That was amazing
ОтветитьIt's just really not the way to do it.
ОтветитьActually insane
ОтветитьWhy are you fitting skirting? Where is the stair stringer?
ОтветитьOfaring
ОтветитьWhy put the skirt on last?? Way more forgiving before, and then your risers and treads are “straight” cuts, even if they need scribed.
Ответитьplease router that edge
ОтветитьGood jab Nice
ОтветитьSWEET!!!
ОтветитьNICE JOB
ОтветитьFraming square??? Speed square ???
ОтветитьPut the skirt board on first. It's so much easier. Good god.
ОтветитьPerfecto increíble ,felicidades maestro
Ответитьperfect.
Ответитьhow did he lay out radius for nosing?
ОтветитьU my friend have a new subscriber❤
ОтветитьI need someone to come do this for me!
ОтветитьLove seeing you complete this so well.
ОтветитьIs that contraption holding the pencil an actual’tool’ ? If so, can someone name it 😅 my house was a flip, gorgeous refinished steps but original skirting w/crumbled plaster that was concealed by some mud & 4in deep of latex caulk 🥴
ОтветитьDo you use a forstner bit for the radius cuts?
Nice work!
Did you already make her seat cut at the bottom first? Before scribing
ОтветитьThe difference between a stair guy doing your stairs versus a hardwood floor guy. I’ve put a lot of sets of stairs in as a hardwood flooring installer, but nothing like this. Next level. Respect due to
ОтветитьYour videos are not useful. Too short and not instructive. I would consider this an ad - not a DIY.
ОтветитьVery neat and precise 👍
