From the looks of the design , this MS felt almost like a cousin unit with the immortal justice and rising freedom similar to the Strike and the Akatsuki, where they used the same frame but the cost of the unit is the equivalent of 20+ M1 Astray
edit: Also fun fact: Cal-re.A wings were equipped with "Levitator" devise, the same devise that the Archangel and Minerva uses to flight under earth gravity, ironically this MS were never used under earth grav.

While, I do love the design of the mobile suit itself, I also can’t help but snicker at the fact that they basically just ripped off the strike freedom Gundam and made it more fancy looking, on top of that the guy who attempted to NTR Kira’s and Lacus’ relationship and claimed to be superior couldn’t even pilot it by himself.

The head reminds me of Reborns Gundam from Gundam 00 S2 and the gold and white colour scheme reminds me of the Lancelot from Code Geass

Thats a two-man mobile suit.

2nd pilot controls the those laser pods.
Yeah no wonder strike freedom's super dragoon system was outmatched Strike Freedom has a computer guided laser pods that has fixed positions when attacking while Calre.A is a human guided laser pod therefore it's unpredictable.
