This actually didn't work for me, my issue was I can host and have randoms and friends join me but I couldn't join either. So after 1 day of net surfing and half a day of checking my PC settings with no results. I saw the network resetting in my settings>network and internet>network reset. I figured why not try it since I don't mess with my internet settings. I started the network reset and after my PC rebooted and connected I went back to RE6 and was able to join and hunt others with no more connection issues. I guess my issue was on my PC and I had no way of knowing because I could play other games online just fine with my friends.
